Class Policies

Registration
Class fees are due when registering for a class. Registration is on a first-come, first served basis and class sizes are often limited to six students or less. Classes may be canceled if we don't reach the minimum number of four students. If we do not have a minimum enrollment one week prior to the class date, the class may be rescheduled or canceled.

Class fees are for instruction only. The supplies and/or kits required for your class are extra unless otherwise specified.

Cancellations/Refunds
If we cancel a class, the class fees may be transferred to another class, or you will receive a refund. If we re-schedule a class, and you are unable to attend, you are entitled to a refund or store credit. Class fees will not be refunded in any way if you do not attend the class or if you cancel less than one week prior to the start date.

Class Rules/Etiquette
Students are required to bring a sewing machine and basic sewing supplies to each class. Please ensure your machine is in good working condition; technicians may not be available to assist you. (Refer to the specific class supply list for equipment and/or software requirements.)

Each student must have a legal copy of the pattern or book. The class will start on time, so please arrive 15 minutes early and be set up and ready to go. If help is needed in the selection of class materials, please do so prior to the start of class. If you don't know how to use your sewing machine, please take one of our Know Your Machine classes prior to the class.
